In the last months it has become increasingly apparent that there is a need for a managerial-administrative formation for those who will be responsible for the Church’s material goods.
In raising awareness of this great need, not only have future priests and the economists of individual dioceses responded, but also members of the Church hierarchy, who are ready to contribute to a solution.
In particular, Cardinal Pell has asked the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross to organize a course of formation for priests and other lay and religious who work for the Church in economic and administrative capacities.
Our Research Centre has responded to this call, and together with the LUISS Business School of Rome, the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, the Kellogg School of Management, the University of St. Thomas of St. Paul-Minneapolis, we are developing an initial outline of the program, that you can find here.
At the end of the course participants, who have completed requirements, receive a certificate.
The initial challenge is to garner interest among prospective participants and to respond to the various cultural and geographical differences.
Here you can find the Flyer.
